As you may have heard, Shincheonji held its second 100,000 graduation ceremony in Nov 2022. Shincheonji Church of Jesus provides free Bible education via Zion Christian Mission Center. The students who learn Bible through this course must pass exams to prove that they learned and understood the Bible correctly. When they pass the final exam (graduation exam), they get to graduate. With these graduates, Shincheonji celebrate their graduation every year. Last year, 106,186 graduates mastered the Bible and participated in the graduation ceremony (for the further information and pictures of the event, please visit here).

It’s said that no theology education center from a single denomination had done this before (discharging over 100,000 graduates a year) and last year’s event surprised the religious world even more because it’s the ‘second’ 100,000 graduation after the hardship that was caused by the COVID-19 pandemic (Shincheonji’s first 100,000 graduation ceremony was held in Nov 2019).
To celebrate this historic event, Shincheonji Seodaemun Church of Simon Tribe held an oudoor photo exhibition of Shincheonji’s 100,000 Graduation Ceremony at Shinchon station square near Shinchon Gyeongui-Jungang line station.
Seodaemun Church officials said, “This exhibition was held under the title of ‘Nevertheless, the hope returns’. We prepared this exhibition to share hope that nevertheless of this era of thick individualism, many can be together.”
At the exhibition, thirty one pieces of works of pictures and graduates’ interviews from 100,000 graduation ceremony of Shincheonji Zion Christian Mission Center 113 Class.
Visiters reacted, “It’s amazing that this many people could gather in one place,” and “I heard they held the event in Daegu (South Korea) and I’m amazed by their scale.”
