After the grand graduation ceremony that congratulated 100,000 graduates, Shincheonji held special photo exhibitions to remember the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony (if you want to learn more about Shincheonji’s 100,000 Graduation Ceremony, please visit here). All twelve tribes held photo exhibitions in their regions. In Seoul, John and Simon tribes held the exhibitions separately. Here I share what Simon Tribe’s exhibition was like.

This is the exhibition pamphlet.

Through the Media Façade technique, Simon Tribe showed Shincheonji’s graduation ceremony history.
Shincheonji’s graduation ceremony history is shown through a beam projector on a book-shaped panel. The pictures and videos change as if turning the pages of the book.

Another Media Façade technique is used. The title of this corner is “People of Light”, therefore, they projected light on the people-shaped panel, expressing different colors of the light.

Then, they arranged photos of the day of the graduation ceremony. From the preparation to the closing, all the participants followed the order. This prevented any accidents on that day even though around 90,000 people gathered at the same place.

(From top to bottom) Pictures of warming up the event by worshiping God, a picture of praying, the Chairman’s congratulatory speech, a presenter’s congratulatory message, and pictures of graduates enjoying the ceremony.

Group performances to celebrate the graduation were perfectly done on that day. The pictures are amazing!

Here are pictures of Shincheonji’s Chairman giving a congratulatory speech. The sentences under the picture were written in Korean, “Now, we have been studying the book of the Bible. Why have we done that? To know who God is. To know who ourselves are.”

They also placed pictures of their achievements to introduce Shincheonji. The first picture is an article covering 2022’s Shincheonji 100,000 Graduation Ceremony. The second one introduces that We Are One, Shincheonji’s youth volunteer group, had outreached its goal to register blood donation – over 70,000 donors registered to donate blood in one day. They broke the world record of Guinness World Records for the ‘most people to sign up as blood donors online in 24 hours’ and they successfully ended the blood donation campaign.

These are the certificates for renewing the world’s record.

100,000 graduates include graduates from outside of South Korea. Graduates from many other countries participated online in their countries in real-time.

A visitor is watching a French graduate sharing her expression on her graduation.

A panel says 43,030 graduates were from outside of South Korea. On the table under the panel, notes of the graduates from outside of South Korea were laid open. The name cards say whose notebooks are those and where were they from. The notebooks contain Revelation lessons.

They exhibited the graduation cap and gown with pictures of graduates before and after learning Revelation. The exhibition tells us that the graduates mastered Revelation in the Bible, however, they weren’t born different. They were ordinary people like us.

At the end of the exhibition, they gave cellophane sheets to place over the pamphlet (saying “fill the rest of your pages of life with light). When you place it, “God Bless You” turns into “God Bless Light (빛 in Korean).”

Colored panels decorated one corner – near the exit – in twelve colors representing the twelve tribes of Shincheonji.
A curator explained that when more colors are mixed, the colors only get darker, however, when more lights are gathered, the light gets brighter.
As the theme of the exhibition was “People of Light,” the overall exhibition I could see that Simon Tribe tried using light to carry out the meaning. People of Light means people who learned the word (light, Jn1:1-4) become also light. I could feel the pride of Shincheonji looking at the pictures and wonder how much bigger the event could get in the next year.
If you’re interested in learning Revelation in Shincheonji’s Bible course, sign up here! It’s free as Jesus told us to (Rev22:17, The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.)
Great work. May all the glory be unto Him

A beautiful & hopeful post. 106,186 graduates mastered the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, in 2022 – 2422 people more than the 103,764 graduates of 2019. As one pastor testified, ‘’This is only possible by God’s power.”
