[Revelation Chapter 22] Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of Revelation, God’s New Covenant

Finally, the last chapter of Revelation! I hope you’re ready to learn Rev22. If you haven’t read the chapter, I recommend you pause and read it beforehand for a better understanding.

The lecturer of this chapter is Yoo Young-joo, Peter Tribe Leader.

In Rev22, the holy city with the tree of life is promised. This will be fulfilled at New Heaven and New Earth (the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony), from where the Holy City New Jerusalem in the spiritual realm was descended. This will happen after the Holy City New Jerusalem was descended upon New Heaven and New Earth.

To sum up this chapter, it’s promised that from the throne of God and the Lamb, which is in the Holy City New Jerusalem, a river of living water flows down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river, the tree of life stands and bears twelve crops of fruit every month. The leaves of the tree heal the nations. Lastly, God’s servants see God’s face and reign as kings forever.

The throne of God and the Lamb refers to Rev3:12 and Rev3:21. God and Jesus are at the throne of the one who overcomes in Shincheonji.

The crystal-like living water flowing from the throne means the flawlessly perfect word of truth (Dt32:2). It flows like a river. The river means the heart of the evangelists who receive and deliver this word of truth (Jn7:37-38).

There are the trees of life on each side of the river. At the first coming, Jesus and the 12 disciples were the reality of the trees of life (Jn15:1-5, Jn14:6, Mt13:31-32). At the second coming, the one who overcomes and the 12 tribes of Shincheonji are the trees of life (Rev7, Rev14). These trees are from the 12 tribes of Shincheonji, where the Holy City New Jerusalem was descended upon.

They bear 12 fruits every month. These 12 fruits are the congregation members of the Shincheonji who were evangelized to the spiritual new Israel (Jas1:18). The leaves of the trees of life heal the nations. The leaves are evangelists who received and now deliver the word of truth (Ezk47:12). Being deceived by Babylon, all nations were corrupted into the shape and image of Satan, therefore, the nations must be healed.

Seeing the tree of life in God’s kingdom, you might be wondering, where did the tree of the knowledge of good and evil go? Since those trees have appeared in the same place always.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil refers to Satan, the pastor and the organization of Satan, and Satan’s affiliation (Dan4:20-22, Dt32:32-33). The fruit of the tree was described as the wine of adultery in Rev17 and 18. This refers to Satan’s false doctrines (commentary books). Anyhow, why has it’s not seen? It’s because the tree was judged in Rev18 and disappeared in Rev20. Good riddance!

The next verse says that there’s no longer any curse. The reason why there’s no curse anymore in the Holy city is the throne of God and Jesus is in it. The second reason is, that there’s no sin in the city because the city is composed of people who were created through the word of Jesus.

The servants of the city see God’s face. They are the sealed 144,000 people from the 12 tribes. They reign like kings forever: they reign with God as pastors of God and Jesus over the congregation members.

The next verse says that there will be no more night and they won’t need the light of a lamp and the light of the sun. This is because God and Jesus directly shine the light of the word.

John fell down to worship the angel who showed and explained everything. The angel stopped him and said that he was just a fellow servant like John and his brothers. The angel here and the promised pastor are the counselor’s spirit and flesh.

Jesus says in verse 12 that he will give the reward to every one according to what he has done. This is the reward (eternal life) or the punishment (eternal punishment) according to their deeds (Mt25:46).

Jesus called himself Alpha and Omega. Like God who is Alpha and Omega (Rev1:8), Jesus also fulfilled all prophecies.

Then, the qualification to enter the holy city is described. Those who wash their robes have the right to enter the city. They were reborn through the word of God, by washing their tainted spirit by the devil (the robe of mind).

There are twelve doors in the city. These doors are twelve disciples who became the twelve tribe leaders of the new spiritual Israel.

While they enter the city, there are people left out of the city. The betrayers and destroyers are not allowed to enter (Rev13, 17, 18)

Then, Jesus says that he had sent his angel to give John this testimony for the churches. This means through the angel, who is Jesus’ messenger in the spiritual realm, New John, Jesus’ messenger in the physical realm, can testify.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come whoever is thirsty!” They give the free gift of the water of life to whoever wishes. The Spirit is the bridegroom, Jesus. The bride is the messenger of Jesus, New John (Rev19:7 the bride of the Lamb).

If you have been listening to this Revelation seminar from the beginning, you’d be familiar with this verse: “if anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes the word away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book.” Whoever add or take away word from Revelation can’t enter the kingdom of heaven.

Since we don’t know the true meaning of Revelation, we must find the messenger sent by Jesus and listen to his testimony to learn Revelation.

The lecturer today, Yoo Young-joo, Peter Tribe Leader, closes the lecture by saying, “We must become one in God. (…) The word of Revelation is the true spiritual food we must eat at the end of the world. Only eating this will make us live forever and enter the kingdom of heaven. We must realize the word perfectly and then teach our members. If you request, Shincheonji Church of Jesus will provide the material. You can teach it to your members. We should truly become one in God and one in the Bible. We have no desire to be the leader among you, nor want to sit on the highest seat and get higher. We just want to testify what we saw and heard in front of God and Jesus. Let us truly unite as one in God. WE ARE ONE!”

If you’re interested in listening to the revealed word, please register for the application here. Shincheonji teaches God’s word for free as God promised in the Bible.

  1. This lecture helped me understand that the war Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 is a spiritual war at the Second Coming between God and Satan, and not a literal war in the world. The earth is not going to be destroyed! I’m grateful to learn this🙏
