Hi everyone, how have you been? I hope you’re okay and following the government’s prevention guide of COVID-19 well. Friends of mine are now saying jokingly, “Forget the 2020 new year’s resolution. You did great if you haven’t infected COVID-19!” Seriously though, it is an accomplishment if you haven’t experienced COVID-19 this year in this pandemic sitch.

(It is actually in the Bible lol)
Churches in Korea are shutting down by the government one by one for sake of prevention of COVID-19, starting from Shincheonji church of Jesus. It’s been about 7 months Shincheonji members haven’t gathering for service, training, meeting, or any other occasions. Shincheonji has been telling its members not to gather no matter what and follow the government’s prevention guide of COVID-19.

Still, you know how the believers should be. You shouldn’t stop praying (1 Sam. 12:23, NIV) because what consecrate God’s creation is God’s word and prayer (1 Tim. 4:5, NIV)! Therefore, 12 tribes of the Shincheonji church from worldwide gathered online at the same moment to pray. (http://www.sunrise.ug/news/202009/church-proposes-world-wide-prayer-meeting.html)

They repented their sins first. Then, they prayed to God to bring the end of COVID-19, for the wellness of the officers and medical workers who are doing their best to end this situation, and for developing of the treatment. It was a warm moment to see how believers pray for humanity, not just for them.
Pandemic is a very overwhelming situation and a hard time for all, but remember to pray to God, and that God is mighty. God will provide a shelter for your mind and answers for the troubles. God helps you. Don’t forget to pray and let’s overcome COVID-19 together. Here are the Bible quotes from mentioned above.

“As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.” – 1 Sam. 12:23, NIV
“because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” – 1 Tim. 4:5, NIV
Be safe, I hope to see you in the next post!
